September 28, 2019 @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Nicole Ratté

A musician and singer since childhood, NICOLE RATTÉ evolved in different styles before developing a true passion for jazz, a passion that she has shared with her dozens of students over the past decade of teaching her vocal jazz workshops. She is known for her warm and effervescent presence as well as her light and sensual voice. At home on the stage, she delivers vibrant interpretations of jazz standards, pop songs, and Latin, in four languages. She recorded a CD in 2010 entitled “When Somebody Thinks You’re Wonderful”.

Justin Duhaime

Justin is a passionate guitarist, composer, and teacher based in Ottawa. He has performed at various festivals and sold-out concerts at venues such as Irene’s Pub and Pressed. Duhaime is the recipient of the Ottawa Arts Council’s 2018 RBC Emerging Artist Award, the first musician to ever receive the award. As a freelance guitarist, Duhaime has performed in a wide array of musical styles. Most recently, he has emerged as a leading figure in the jazz manouche scene in Ottawa. Duhaime has a self-published guitar book and is sponsored by DK Guitars.
